March 12, 2020 (Traverse City) – GFA is pleased to welcome Mark Maguire, PE, and Shane Gamrat, EIT to our engineering group. Both have chosen to relocate to the Traverse City area from other parts of the state.
Mr. Maguire’s recent projects have included stormwater analysis, subdivisions, commercial and residential site plans, and a variety of other projects. He holds both a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University. He is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, recently serving as the president of the southwest Michigan chapter. Outside of the office he enjoys spending time with his family and watching the adventures of their toddler.
Mr. Gamrat’s project experience includes design, construction management, and construction observation and testing of both locally and federally funded roadway construction projects, municipal infrastructure improvements, private site developments, and county drain work. He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Lawrence Technological University. He is a member of the Michigan Society of Professional Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers, and the American Society of Civil Engineers. When he’s not at work he enjoys fishing, spending time outdoors, and spending time with his family – especially his new German shorthair puppy!
